Double Tree By Hilton Hotel Torrance South Bay in Torrance, CA is looking for a Cook to join us. We are located on 21333 Hawthorne Boulevard. Our ideal candidate has a flexible schedule is attentive, ambitious, and creative.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations and be able to work station alone and multitask
- Cook dishes to business standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Prepare ingredients for use during and after shift
- Able to cover different stations during the course of the shift as needed
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook, experience in all stations, especially hot line
- Prior hotel kitchen experience a plus including banquets
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail, developing recipes and presenting dishes
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- ServeSafe certified
- Must be able to work a Flexible schedule in response to business needs to include weekends and holidays
