DoubleTree by Hilton Torrance - South Bay is looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team. We are located on 21333 Hawthorne Boulevard. Our ideal candidate has a flexible schedule is motivated, customer service oriented and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service
- Answer and screen phone calls
- Field guest complaints, listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems
- Act as liaison between guest and security, guest's services or engineering
- Process and handle group rooming lists, reservations
- Inputting Group and Airline crew blocks and room assignments
- Must consistently exhibit a professional demeanor in all interactions with guests, team members, and all hotel ownership and/or management, and its representatives
- Must be able to consistently report to work on time as scheduled, and be prepared to work as scheduled
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a front desk agent at a hotel or similar position
- Prior Hotel experience preferred
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents
- Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner
- Time-management and organizational skills
- 2nd language a plus
- Must have a Flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays
