We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the banquet area throughout the event, ensuring all tables are properly cleared and reset as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of food items, adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events.
- Help with post-event clean-up, including breaking down tables and cleaning the banquet space.
Requirements
- Previous experience in banquet serving or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is an asset.
- Strong guest relations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help colleagues and guests alike.
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
