JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team. The houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the common areas, assisting housekeeping staff, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Assist Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, and amenities as needed.
- Collect and remove trash and dirty linens from housekeeping carts and service areas.
- Restock housekeeping closets with necessary supplies and report inventory needs.
- Respond promptly to guest request for additional items, such as extra pillows or rollaway beds.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor or Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items, such as linen carts over long distances.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and follow simple directions.
