Description
BASIC PURPOSE: Provide warm, hospitable service during banquet events, according to brand/company standards and state laws in a safe, accident-free manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Relay food and beverage orders.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guests needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
- Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Comply with all CHA Galleria LLC policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience: One year of banquet experience preferred.
Age: Must be 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
Skills and Abilities:
- Communication and hospitality skills (English) required
- Ability to use micros machine
- Full knowledge of state liquor laws
- Full knowledge of TIPs training
Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying Trays up to 20 lbs., carry silverware and set-ups of 20 lbs.
Mobility Continually walking at a fast pace. Variable area including tight, high density environment. Continuous standing. Quick paced bending/stretching to serve beverages and general cleanliness of work areas.
