Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in catering events or banquets as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive guest experience.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Cash handling experience with basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and cocktail preparation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification in responsible beverage service is preferred but not mandatory.
