Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Housekeeping Associate to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public areas, including public bathrooms, lobby, and back of the house spaces such as employee bathrooms, locker rooms, and cafeteria areas, according to company procedures and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents, and floors in public areas.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves in public areas.
- Clean and polish metal surfaces, ashtrays, and empty trash cans.
- Assist with washing coffee mugs and drinking glasses.
- Ensure the lobby area is neat and clean, including picking up trash and keeping floors clean.
- Assist Front Desk with guest requests, such as delivering towels and toiletries.
- Walk the parking lot daily to collect excess trash.
- Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow safety and security procedures and rules.
- Utilize protective equipment and report unsafe conditions to management.
