Join our team of hospitality professionals at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Nanuet, NY. Our 156 room full-service hotel is centrally located in Nanuet, (Rockland County) New York, and is consistently rated the number one hotel in Rockland County.

We are hiring 2 Guest Service Agent's to represent the hotel at the Front Desk. You are the first contact with our guests and responsible for the impression you make on our guests at check in an during their stay. You must have a friendly, easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. The Guest Service Agent does assist guests with inquiries, problems, and complaints, receiving guests’ payments while doing our best to make them feel welcome, comfortable, and valued during their stay with us.

You must be professional and pleasant in challenging situations and take responsibility for the satisfaction of guests from arrival to departure. Preferred candidates will be positive, pro-active, and be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A demonstrated commitment to the customer service field or prior hotel experience is required for us to consider your application. We prefer only local candidates who live in Rockland County, NY or Pascack Valley, NJ.

Front Desk Agent Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
  • Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
  • Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
  • Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
  • Assisting guests with disabilities.
  • Operating switchboard and assisting with inquiries.
  • Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
  • Performing duties on a daily checklist.Front Desk Agent Requirements:
  • High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
  • 1 years Front Desk Agent experience preferred.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player- People Person.
  • Physically agile, and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Available to work AM or PM shifts, Weekdays and Weekends and on public holidays.
