WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Load carts with supplies needed to perform duties.
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, change bed linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
- Ensure guest room set up complies with standards.
- Reports any discrepancies in room status to Inspector.
- Turns in all lost & found items following the standard procedures.
- Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Attends department meetings.
- Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities.
- Be knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures.
- Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and leads.
- Other housekeeping duties as assigned.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a full service hotel or related field preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and 10 pounds frequently. Constantly kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and be able to work with other seamlessly.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
