Join our team at Dough Daddyz! A new, modern, upscale Italian restaurant in Naples, FL !!
Our expo/food runner will be responsible for maintaining the smooth flow between the back of the house: cooks and kitchen staff, and the front of the house: servers, bartenders, and our valued guests!!! You will work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out faster and more efficiently. The goal is to make service faster and maintain the consistency of our plated menu items to help enhance our food quality and reputation.
Expo Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the servers to the kitchen
- Make sure orders are being cooked in a timely fashion, so that all orders for a table are ready at the same time.
- Assist in the final dish preparation, ensuring it is dressed and garnished correctly and free from smudges or spills.
- Check dishes before delivery to the table for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
- Deliver orders to maintain fast service
- Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing
- Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
- Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request)
- Handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant’s reputation
- Support other tasks as needed, such as taking to-go orders, answering the phone, etc.
Expo Qualifications/Skills:
- This position also ensures the kitchen area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary area. Expeditor must be safety conscious and in compliance of all laws concerning the safety of others.
- This position requires a friendly, highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma, preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
