What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Case Coordinator position at Dougherty County?
The Dougherty County State Court is hiring for a Court Case Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to assist State Court Judge with matters pertaining to civil cases.
This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
• Receives responses to calendar call notices, maintain list of cases and responses and route to clerk, greet parties and prepare responses for Judge.
• Maintains paper and electronic calendar for the Judge and schedule and prepares notices for civil hearings.
• Notifies Jury Coordinator of impending trials, prepares and mails thank you letters to jurors.
• Provides general clerical support answering calls and providing information to parties directly related to cases.
• Performs related work as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.
• Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment): Unavoidable hazards refer to the job conditions that may lead to injury or health hazards even though precautions have been taken.
