Responsibilities:
The Resident Assistant provides assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining resident apartments
- Transport residents within the community to other departments and/or functions.
- Document and report care provided and resident observations
- Obtain vital signs, heights, and weights.
Requirements:
- A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
- Under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
- Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
- Completes all state educational requirements
- Receives and maintains First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training, facilitated by the company
