Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and guidance to clients dealing with behavioral health issues, including addiction and mental health challenges.
- Conduct crisis intervention and management to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
- Mentor clients by participating in individualized support plans tailored to their unique needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and resources for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
- Co-facilitate group sessions or workshops focused on coping strategies, life skills, and recovery processes.
- Stay informed about best practices in social work, mental health counseling, and addiction counseling.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Lived Experience in additictions and recovery.
- Oregon-Approved Peer Support Credential, or Community Health Worker Credential or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
- Valid Oregon Drivers License.
- Strong skills in crisis management and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in the fields of mental health and social work.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.25 per hour
