Job Summary
Candidate must possess excellent secretarial and/or paralegal skills. Candidate must be deadline oriented able to multi-task and have a mature pleasant and professional demeanor in a stressful fast-paced environment. Position involves heavy contact with the public via phones and in person; candidate must have excellent phone and people skills while serving at the front desk as a full-time receptionist and performing administrative work. The position also involves extensive contact with victims courts attorneys and the general public. Administrative and legal experience preferred. The position requires attention to detail and a thorough understanding of victim’s rights. Must be able to interpret policies and procedures perform legal research and complete legal forms as well as any other duties assigned. Candidate must be able to follow procedures independently. MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma/GED supplemented by course work in legal/paralegal field Proficiency with graphic design and social media platforms is preferred but not required Minimum of five years’ related experience Mandatory – Must be able to type 50 WPM Computer literate with MS Office Suite experience Minimum 18 years of age Salary: Commensurate with experience plus full benefits package Resumes may be attached but a resume without a completed application will not be considered.
