About the Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an experienced Network Analyst who can hit the ground running and make a real impact at Douglas County P.U.D.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server infrastructure, software systems, and security.
They will be able to:
- Design and implement server hardware, including storage systems, servers, networking, firewalls, and backup devices.
- Maintain virtual server infrastructure solutions across multiple sites.
- Build and configure Linux and Windows servers according to District standards.
- Patch servers to ensure they are up-to-date.
- Stay current with security trends, issues, and technologies.
- Implement robust security measures to protect our systems.
- Configure firewalls and other network security controls as needed.
- Monitor systems for effective cyber security.
- Ensure data protection through regular backups.
- Support various server-based systems, including Active Directory, Log Management, Patch Management, and remote access applications.
- Track software licenses.
- Monitor and update security certificates.
- Microsoft 365 administration and security configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and network issues with technical staff and end-users.
- Provide on-call support outside regular working hours when necessary.
