What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Assistant position at Douglas County P.U.D?
Job Details:
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position that can accommodate student availability and vary depending on college schedules. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Responsibilities:
• Set up new PCs and ensure they are configured correctly.
• Prepare old PCs for retirement by properly disposing of sensitive data and components.
• Inventory computer assets to maintain an accurate record of our technology infrastructure.
• Remove old print supplies and assist with various IS Department tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• A high school diploma or GED, and completing at least one year of postsecondary education at an accredited trade school, college, or university. Must be considered a full-time student.
• Educational focus in a field related to Computer Science.
• Strong computer skills and a passion for technology.
• A professional work attitude and ability to work cooperatively with others in a variety of settings.
