**Job Summary**
The Seasonal Fish Counter will work under the supervision of the Natural Resources Supervisor or designee to monitor fish passage at Wells Dam, ensuring accurate records of fish counts and compiling data for reporting purposes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor fish passage at Wells Dam using video display monitors
- Record individual fish and compile hourly and daily totals for reporting purposes
- Work collaboratively with other fish counters and Natural Resources department staff
- Meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in recording and compiling data
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior fish counting experience or fish identification education (special consideration will be given)
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to accurately identify and count fish
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
