- Develop and deliver training on effective ELD practices, Title III requirements, and culturally responsive teaching strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions focused on supporting Latinx students and their unique needs.
- Mentor educators to implement inclusive instructional practices that reflect diversity and equity.
- Provide guidance to Title III consortium districts regarding student eligibility and program implementation.
- Convene districts for training, collaboration, and needs assessments, ensuring alignment with state updates and initiatives.
- Work closely with administrators, educators, and community partners to advocate for Latinx student success.
- Create and facilitate affinity spaces for Latinx students and educators.
- Lead systemic change efforts to support the inclusion and success of Latinx students and their families.
- Collect student achievement and program data to inform grant applications and improvement strategies.
- Assist in preparing budgets and reports for Title III and other related programs.
- Collaborate with the Education Services data team and other partners to create impactful systems of support.
- Regularly collaborate with school districts and community partners.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to and from school locations in the Douglas ESD service area and may be required to travel on overnight assignments.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Valid Oregon TSPC license with ESOL endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum three (3) years of successful teaching with culturally responsive strategies
- Proven experience developing and delivering professional development for educators.

Douglas ESD is accepting applications for a Temporary At-Will Student Success Coach for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year.This is a temporary at-will position that does not qualify for benefits.
Salary: $31.70 - $53.30 per hour (Based on the licensed salary scale. Salary is dependent on relevant verifiable experience and certification.)
Job Summary: This position will provide professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to improve English Language Development (ELD) instruction and student outcomes, with a specific focus on supporting Latinx students. This role will lead efforts to create culturally responsive environments, address equity gaps, and foster inclusive practices across school districts. The position involves data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and advocacy to enhance educational experiences for English Learners (ELs) and their communities.
