Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify Deliveries: Confirm that delivered parts and materials match the orders and that quantities are correct.
- Inventory Management: Transfer received parts into stock containers, label them for easy identification, and maintain accurate records of received and stored materials.
- Scrap and Inventory Adjustments: Monitor, record, and adjust inventory levels to account for scrap and discrepancies.
- Cycle Counting and Inventory Audits: Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Follow-up on Purchase Orders: Track open and past-due purchase orders, ensuring timely communication with vendors and the production team. Enter and place new purchase orders as needed to support production schedules.
- Monthly Steel Inventory: Conduct a full inventory of steel each month, ensuring accurate stock levels and reporting any variances.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all departments to support production and procurement processes.
