Evening Shift Charge Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Charge Nurse plays a crucial role in overseeing patient care, coordinating nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of medical services are delivered. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage medication administration protocols.
• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients in an Assisted Living facility.
• Train and mentor new nursing staff on best practices and hospital protocols.
• Address patient concerns and provide education on health management.

Experience

• Proven experience in nursing with a focus on medication administration and patient care.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes and medical terminology is essential.
• Previous experience in a leadership role or charge nurse capacity is preferred.
• Experience within various clinical settings such as Medical-surgical units or Trauma Centers is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.25 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
