Do you have a good working knowledge of and the ability to perform basic maintenance services, such as plumbing, electrical, heating and air-conditioning, and general construction? If yes, this hands-on position might be just the perfect career change you've been looking for!
As the maintenance technician, you will be responsible for:
- basic minor plumbing - fixture replacement, drain snaking, leak repairs, etc.
- basic minor electric - fixture and device replacements, troubleshooting as needed
- painting
- complete preventive maintenance tasks
- grounds care
- record detailed maintenance logs
- maintain professional courteous manner with all residents and fellow employees
- comply with safety regulations
- maintain a clean and orderly work area
- ordering of supplies as necessary
- follow on call requirements
Required Qualifications:
- applicants must be 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
