Nurses, are you ready to take the next step on the career ladder? Dove Healthcare is seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as a regional nurse consultant to support our assisted living facilities in Barron, Bloomer, and Spooner.
As one of our regional nurse consultants, you will play a vital role on our team by working with our assisted living residences to mentor, train, and education our family of caregivers, while helping to oversee the care of our residents. Regional Nurse Consultant Responsibilities Include:
- observe and manage acute changes in a resident's condition
- supervise caregiver duties and provide caregiver education when necessary
- maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, physicians, pharmacies, and all employees
- monitor compliance with policies and procedures
- assist with regulatory compliance through observation, correction, and reporting of situations that may cause exposure to the assisted living residence
- help provide a safe, comfortable, home-like environment
- be part of the regional nurse on call rotation (every 4th week, Monday - Monday)
- other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- current licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a registered nurse
- degree from an accredited school of nursing
- ability to understand and carry out technical oral and written instructions
- excellent time management skills
- ability to accept and give directions
- work well in a team environment
- have a desire to make a difference in people's lives
