Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation regarding clients' health status and care provided.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any changes in clients' conditions or needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are essential for this role.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist them in daily activities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar training is beneficial but not required.
