Looking to hire a Chef / Sous Chef for the summer season. We pay top dollar in salaries. May 15th thru September 15th. We are a 5 star luxury fishing lodge located on a private island in Sitka Alaska. Chef needs to have fine dining experience. We serve a maximum of 28 guests per night. Must be a team player. Job description : Be able to make 5 course upscale dinners for approximately 30people and crew meals for staff. Also responsible for making breakfast and lunch for guests. As well as being able to make 4 course upscale shore lunches in the field for fishing guests.
Job Responsibilities : Cooking all meals, submitting food orders, weekly grocery shopping, weekly inventory of kitchen product and freezer products, weekly deep cleaning of kitchen
Job requirements : Prefer at least a year of high end restaurant cooking experience. Need at least 3 years of restaurant references. Prefer 2 years of lodge experience. No visible tattoos. No drug or alcohol problems.
