What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor - Boarding Department position at Dover Area Animal Hospital?
Our kennel is looking for a dedicated and responsible leader who is also passionate about animal care.
Responsibilities:
- Handling dogs and cats
- Preparing meals for boarding pets
- Minor medical care (such as administering medication)
- Answering phone calls, receiving and returning voice messages from clients
- Processing and recording payments
- Admissions and Discharges
- Supervising small boarding staff
- Client Relations
- Supervising a team of /- 10 people
Previous animal care and customer service experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
**Alternating Weekends and 2 to 3 evenings per week availability is required**
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
