Your Role

You will work closely with our dedicated teams to develop effective solutions that align with CPC's strategic goals. Summary : The Development Engineer will be an integral member of the technology development team in support of the Thermal Management Business Unit. Primary responsibilities include conceptualization, detailed engineering design, analysis and specification of technologies in support of new product development. The Development Engineer should embody a logical, creative, and curious approach to product design, paired with a passion for innovation and problem solving.
Responsibilities :
- Lead research and development projects to evaluate and advance new technologies aligned with the Thermal Business Unit technology roadmap - spanning a variety of areas including material science, mechanics, development testing, technology scouting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, product and marketing professionals to refine requirements, assess and mitigate risks, and successfully transfer new technology into product development
- Interacts with customers and suppliers as needed to assess new technology needs
- Leads or assists in continuous improvement efforts relating technology standards, guides, and tools
- Leads or assists in efforts to resolve product performance issues
- Adheres to all safety regulations
- Demonstrates support of CPC core values
