Machining Workflow Coordinator

Main position objectives

The Machine Shop Workflow Coordinator provides support in scheduling, shop floor engineering packet processing, communicating schedule status and changes to internal & external customers, and materials management for the Maag family of equipment to include : die plates and die plate related items.

Working independently but supported by others, the incumbent is the workflow coordinator for the die plate machine shop

Position description Tasks, responsibilities, competencies

• Monitor the die plate manufacturing schedule, assuring individual orders stay on track for on-time delivery
• Work with the Die Plate Manager & Lead CNC Programmer to define tooling needs and source tooling as required
• Following up on status of purchase orders for materials and outside services to maintain on-time delivery of finished die plate products
• Work constructively with the entire Die Plate Team in suggesting / implementing improvements to workflow, processes, & technical documentation
• Assist in Continuous Improvement efforts with the Die Plate Team
• Other tasks as assigned

Work Environment

Work in this position is in an office and a factory floor environment, either locally or at a customer site. While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
