What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Brazer to assist in the production of refrigerated display cases. Brazers join pieces of metal together by heating the pieces, placing a solder-like filler substance on the joint and allowing the heated metal to melt the filler and seal the joint.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
• Use brazing torch to braze copper to copper, brass, aluminum or other dissimilar metals.
• Brazing fundamentals
• Operate copper saw
• Operate tube bender
• Preform checks to ensure brazing equipment is in safe and working order; report discrepancies to department leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

What are the basic qualifications?

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure (including whole numbers, fractions and decimals).

• Must be able to operate power tools and perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
• May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling.
• Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs).
• Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
