Wingdale, NY 12594Worksite Address : 181 Hutchinson Ave. Wingdale, NY 12594.Duties : Assist various construction trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, framing, flooring, roofing) in performing their tasks. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople perform their tasks efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Carry and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required. Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites. Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials. Assist in the installation of systems including wiring, pipes, and equipment. Ensure that the job site is organized and free of hazards. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to protect oneself and others on site. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Ensure materials are stored properly and are readily accessible for tradespersons.Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, climb, balance, kneel, crouch and bend. Push, pull, and lift 50lbs.Employer will provide daily transportation to and from work sites from central meeting point to work sites within Dutchess County NY.No education or experience required.Work Hours : Mon-Fri, 730am-4 PM, 40 hours / week at $27.12 / hour, OT rate $40.68 / hour.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly on Friday. Pay will be up-to-date and include the 14th day. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
