What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dean of Student Services position at Dover High School?
The primary responsibility of the Dean of Student Services at Dover High School shall be to lead the daily operation of the building level special education programs in a manner consistent with adopted laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
This includes the facilitation of individual student programming and assessment; building level program monitoring and review, professional support for faculty, families and students necessary for evaluating school, teacher, and student performance over time.
The Dean of Student Services also supports the leadership of a professional learning environment and opportunities for the engagement of all staff which maximizes student growth and achievement.
The Dean of Student Services is a contributing member of the school leadership team.
The successful candidate shall support the creation and implementation of school goals and objectives that support the approved goals of the Dover School Board in its efforts to provide a rich educational experience designed to best meet the educational needs of each individual student in accordance with the mission and vision of the Dover School District.
This is a full time, year-round position starting July 1, 2025.
