Grounds Crew for C&W Services

Perform a variety of groundskeeping duties for C&W Services @ Dover School District, SAU 11. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services including: •Maintenance of all Dover Public Schools landscaping, grounds, and athletic fields •Examines and polices the grounds on a routine basis •Mows grass and trims with power mowers and other power tools •Weeds flower beds, around shrubs and trees, as directed •Removes dead branches, prunes, and maintains trees •Performs routine maintenance and up-keep on all grounds equipment and tools •Removes snow and ice using power snow blowers, chemical ice melters, truck mounted plows, tractors, powered sand/salt spreaders, shovels, and/or ice scrapers •Performs athletic field maintenance including all aspects of field layouts and maintenance •Rakes leaves and grass •Maintains parking lots including pothole repair, sweeping, striping •Provides support and manpower including custodial coverage as directed by the Facilities Office or Facilities Management This list is representative of those duties and responsibilities that are required of this position. However, a supervisor or manager may assign other duties to meet requirements.
