Our team is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, and we are looking for a Full-Time Receptionist to join us!
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and an exceptional communicator who understands the important connection between oral health and overall well-being. Dental experience is a plus, but if you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping people, we’re excited to train you!
What You’ll Do Each Day:- Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Ensure every patient’s check-in and check-out process is smooth and seamless.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and fully stocked front desk and reception area.
- Process prescriptions promptly and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Participate in our daily morning Huddle to stay informed and prepared.
- Scan referrals into patient charts and communicate with our Treatment Coordinator.
- Clearly explain financial obligations to patients and help them navigate their accounts.
- Ensure any unexpected charges are settled before a patient leaves the office.
- Help patients understand their future financial responsibilities before booking appointments.
- Apply deposits to accounts as needed.
- Assist the hygiene coordinator with patient communication via NexHealth and email.
- Identify patients with outstanding balances and strategize with the team during Huddle.
- Build strong relationships with patients to create a welcoming and trusting environment.
- Step in to support team members and help out in other areas when needed.
- Honor commitments to your teammates and contribute to our positive office culture.
This position is for our Center Harbor location only.
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM
- Weekends: Off!
