Material Coordinator I (Warehouse/Parts Room)-2nd Shift

Welcome to Dow Aero, a dynamic and innovative company that provides unparalleled services in the aviation industry. We currently have an opening for a customer service focused individual, with shipping and receiving experience, to join our team as a Material Coordinator I on our second shift. 

Essential Responsibilities

• Ship and receive various parts including Hazmat.
• Operate forklift.
• Process shipments via FedEx or UPS Software.
• Assist in inventory retrieval and put away.
• Use of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks daily to log materials in and out.
• Perform local deliveries or pickups occasionally.
• Assist others with diverse projects as needed.
• Maintain safe and orderly working area conditions.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
  

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior Hazmat shipping certification.
• Prior forklift certification.
• Familiarity with quality standards AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120 (ISO 9001).
  

Primary Work Environment

• Climate and Non-Climate Controlled; and
• Warehouse.

Expected Days and Hours

  • 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
    

Open and able to work occasional overtime and weekends as required dependent on workload.

• This position has no direct supervisory or management responsibilities.

Travel requirements

• Rarely (up to 10% of the year) - Primarily Local

Required Personal Equipment/Tooling

• Protective steel-toed footwear.
  

Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for job duties and responsibilities will be provided as necessary by Dow Aero, including protective eyewear, respirator, etc.
