Engagement Specialist
As an Engagement Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for new members, welcoming them to Dow Credit Union and introducing them to the products and services that best fit their financial goals. Through phone calls, emails, and chats, you'll help members navigate their accounts, review loan terms, and explore opportunities to maximize their credit union membership. Your ability to connect with people and your knowledge of financial products will play a crucial role in strengthening member relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to new members, providing a seamless and positive onboarding experience.
- Educate members about Dow Credit Union products and services to enhance their financial success.
- Assist members acquired through the indirect lending channel by reviewing loan terms and repayment options.
- Cross-sell appropriate products and services based on member needs and financial goals.
- Utilize sales techniques to present products effectively and overcome objections with tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and follow up as needed.
- Collaborate with various departments to support member needs.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share knowledge with team members.
- Determine and initiate additional opportunities for strengthening member relationships through outbound contact efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven success in sales, customer service, call center, or telemarketing.
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Skills & Qualities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain a service-oriented approach.
- Goal-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in computer systems and call center technology.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
