Duck Enthusiasts are team members for all positions including Cashiers, Donut Makers, Donut Toppers and Back of House. Must have a great personality, be positive and exciting team players with a strong work ethic, committed to providing to providing an exceptional guest experience. Duck Enthusiasts are cross-trained in the above roles
Cashier:
- Be friendly and enthusiastic to go above and beyond to provide exceptional guest services
- Must be able to explain to the guests the ordering process of Duck Donuts and help throughout the completion of the transaction.
- Maintain cashier station and counter tops neat, clean, and organized
- Prepare espresso beverages as needed.
- Maintain lobby area including, but not limited to, keep tables and chairs clean and organized and floor swept.
- Keep coffee bar clean and stocked. Brew coffee, as needed, and prep creamers.
- Stock coolers and retail shelves.
- Follow all policies and procedures of the cashier position.
- Support other team members throughout shifts.
Donut Topper:
- An enthusiastic and artistic individual who will be responsible for applying icings and toppings to donuts
- Smile while ensuring the guest’s order is fulfilled correctly and accurately.
- Use correct portions on coatings, toppings an drizzles for the donuts.
- Keep counters clean and organized throughout the day
- Make sure donuts are placed neatly and correctly within the box.
- Follows all policies and procedures of the Donut Topper position
- Ensure the customer experience is exceptional.
- Support other team members throughout the shift
Back of House:
- Ensure products are prepped and brought to the front as needed
- Prepare icings as needed per the recipe and directions
- Support the process of tracking inventory and usage
- Keep dishes maintained and washed
- Keep food product rotated and labeled properly
- Prepare breakfast and sandwiches as needed
- Follows all policies and procedures of the Back of House position.
- Smile while ensuring the customer’s experience is exceptional
- Support other team members throughout the shift
Donut Maker:
- Ensures the donut machines are functioning correctly and the area is ready to produce donuts
- Prepare the donut batter as needed per the recipe and directions
- Keep mixing station and fryer station clean and maintained throughout shift
- Follow all policies and procedures of the donut making position
- Smile while ensuring the customer’s experience is fantastic while letting customers watch how the donuts are made (It’s part of the show!)
- Support other team members throughout shift

- Endure varying temperatures and work around fryers, ovens, grills, coolers, freezers, sharp objects, and loud environments.
- Employ hands adeptly throughout the shift, including overhead activities.
- Maneuver objects by pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and occasionally handling weights exceeding 50 lbs., including lifting from the ground to overhead.
- Able to work various shifts as needed including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Donut Maker Minimum age requirement 18 years old
- No prior donut experience is required
