About the Role:
We’re looking for a compassionate, organized, and safety-focused Transportation Supervisor to lead our Transportation Department. This role ensures residents get to medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled events safely, comfortably, and on time. Schedule:
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Hours vary between 7:30am – 5pm
Includes weekend Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation (twice a year)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise Transportation Associates — including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee daily transportation operations for residents, ensuring comfort, safety, and timeliness
- Maintain vehicle safety compliance through regular inspections and documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and families
- Assist at the front desk when needed and support overall team operations
- Model Dow Rummel’s leadership behaviors: accountability, communication, conflict resolution, engagement, planning, and results
What You Bring:
- Leadership experience in transportation, senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents as needed
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Passion for serving older adults and a commitment to safety and excellence
