May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities - Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role
- Gathers appropriate PPM information for maintenance to be performed on existing or new equipment.
- Performs quality control check on all PPM creations, equipment technical data and Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) creations including adds, changes and deletions.
- Manages all equipment Bill of Material (BOM)-parts lists.
- Ensures that scheduled services are entered into the Maintenance Management System (MMS) based upon the equipment reliability strategy or reviews of new equipment that is being installed.
- Assists during root cause investigations where PPM practices have been identified as a potential cause.
- Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed.
- Tracks PPM completion of task compliance and advises the Plant leadership and reliability staff of any issues impacting the effectiveness of the PPM program.
- Serves as a master data administrator interface, as needed.
- Supports the requirement that all Planned PPM job packages will have a procedure or the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the PPM job package is released for system usage.
- Provides, as needed, technical input in developing the maintenance budget.
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience in a Production, Maintenance or craft position.

- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
- Associates degree or higher.
- Previous experience in a PPM Coordinator role at Dow.
- Experience in SAP.
- Mechanical experience and interest.
- A thorough understanding of the GMWP/IRWP.

- Technical Proficiency: The role requires a strong understanding of Predictive Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and the ability to manage the Maintenance Management System (MMS) and Common Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Quality Control: Performing quality control checks on PPM creations, equipment technical data, and Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) creations is a crucial part of the job.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to manage equipment Bill of Material (BOM)-parts lists and ensure scheduled services are entered into the MMS based on equipment reliability strategy.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with production, maintenance, and engineering groups, as well as outside vendors, is essential. This includes strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership and Facilitation: Demonstrating leadership skills to inspire others and lead through influence, as well as strong interpersonal and facilitative skills to interact with multiple functions and diverse individuals.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to assist during root cause investigations where PPM practices have been identified as a potential cause.
- Technical Resource and Data Management: Serving as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, tracking PPM completion of task compliance, and acting as a master data administrator interface as needed.
