POSITION: EL Paraprofessional - Justus Gage Elementary/Patrick Hamilton
40 hours a week
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must meet requirements of Highly Qualified.
- High organizational skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to effectively manage groups of student
PREFERENCES:
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of NWEA
- Best Practices in Early Literacy
JOB DUTIES:
- Work with small groups of students in targeted areas
- Knowledge of language arts, math, social studies and expository reading skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse cultural, racial and socio-economic student population
- Skills in using computers to word process, create spreadsheets, the ability to find information on the Internet, and the ability to utilize digital cameras
SALARY: District Pay Scale
