Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, skilled, and experienced Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage systems and experience working with cars and trucks. This role involves the installation and configuration of our state-of-the-art GPS tracking devices. The position requires significant travel in the Atlanta area, and, when not on the road, the Installer will be stationed at one of the area installation centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles, including cars and trucks.
- Ensure installations are completed accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
- Configure GPS tracking devices to meet client specifications.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support during and after installation.
- Maintain detailed records of installations and configurations.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve any installation-related issues.
- Travel extensively to client locations for installations (approximately 50% travel time in the ATL market installation locations with 20% at other client locations).
- Work from local ATL installation center when not traveling, performing configurations and other related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience with low-voltage systems, preferably in an automotive environment.
- Proficiency working with cars and trucks, including familiarity with vehicle electrical systems.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to configure electronic devices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience installing and configuring GPS tracking devices.
- Technical certification or training in automotive electronics or a related field.
- Familiarity with telematics and fleet management solutions.
