Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in maintaining the overall appearance and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
