Job Details

  • The Certified Scrub Technician is responsible for the safe, sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases.
  • This includes gathering of all necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons pick sheets.
  • The employee must be conscientious with regards to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department.
  • They must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

    • Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
  • Possesses a current ORT certification
  • Current OR experience is essential
  • BCLS required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff and sales and repair reps
