What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Scheduler/ Templator position at Down East Fabrication?
OVERVIEW
Travel to the jobsite to measure cabinets with a digital templating system. Verification of quoted drawings, making sure that all structures are prepared to accept the stone countertop and sink, faucets and elements that go on the countertop will work and fit correctly.
Scheduling template and install crews to ensure that jobs are completed in time to meet deadlines.
Meeting with and discussing deadlines with project managers, mill work companies and directly with customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Traveling to commercial businesses, schools, hospitals, etc to create templates.
Measure installed cabinets to determine measurements for stone/solid surface tops.
Use and care for digital laser templater and accessories
Review measurements to ensure precision
Completing work orders noting all pre-existing damages, required measurements, polished edges, cut-outs (sinks, cook tops, faucet holes), plus radiuses in the tops and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job.
Advising customers of any modifications required and providing critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation processes.
Responding to general customer inquiries while on-site and communicating any relevant information about the job to the salesperson, Operations/Production staff in a timely manner.
Ensuring all work orders and completed templates are submitted no later than 24-48 (confirm) hours from the time of templating

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
