Preschool Summer Camp Teacher

We are a private part-time preschool with a super fun summer camp! Our summer schedule starts on June 9th and is on T/W/Th from 9 am-1 pm (which means 4 day weekends all summer). We are currently seeking the best preschool teachers in town! We seek a teacher who brings magic, joy, and a sense of adventure to our littlest learners. We are passionate about early childhood! Our goal is to help children develop an enthusiasm for learning in a loving, fun, hands-on, and exciting way.

Role Responsibilities

• Establish a loving and structured classroom environment conducive to play-based, hands-on learning
• Implement provided and/or personally planned curriculum working with preschool-age children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Build strong relationships and trust with students while implementing positive discipline strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through the Brightwheel app and personal discussions.
• Support our preschool's success, partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required. College ECE coursework and/or degree highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
