Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance and physical patrols to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraudulent activities.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
- Scan ID and verify age for entry
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is required.
- Must be certified with State of CA and complete annual continued education
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing for long periods while performing patrol duties.
