Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for families for Special Events. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing demeanor and the ability to engage children in educational and fun activities. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care to children in a safe environment
- Engage in educational activities that promote learning and development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Organize playtime activities that stimulate creativity and physical activity
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized play area, including tidying up after activities
- Support children's social skills through interaction with peers during playdates or outings
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or childcare roles such as babysitting or nannying
- Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and preschool education practices
- Ability to prepare healthy meals suitable for children
- Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to educate while having fun
- Reliable transportation for outings or school drop-offs/pick-ups is preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory
