Duties:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a home setting
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, discipline, and any specific care needs
- Monitor children's well-being and respond to their emotional and physical needs
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding the child's progress and any concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or nanny setting
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both children and parents
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Willingness to engage in educational activities with children to support their development
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals and snacks for children
