Locations: District Buildings (based upon available position)
Pay Rate: $16.06 per hour
Schedule: Up to 35 hours per week based on building needs, Monday - Friday; 180 school days per year following Board-approved calendar
Benefit Eligible: Yes - dependent upon number of hours per week in position

Qualifications: To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skills and/or ability necessary.
- High school diploma plus one year experience in similar position
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good clerical and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and have good organizational skills
- Ability to operate standard office machines
- Proficiency in the use of technology for individual and system management, communication, and research
- Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment

Teacher Support - Elementary
- Operates photocopier and clears paper jams; may act as key operator for copier
- Operates and refills laminator, copier, poster maker, Ellison machine, and book binding machine
- Assists in clerical-type duties as necessary
- Constructs materials for bulletin board displays and posters
- Assists teachers by typing, proofreading, copying, and distributing exams
- Assists in preparation of supply list; maintains perpetual inventory of supplies; assists with budget preparation
- Oversees laminator, poster maker, and design center
- Types, proofreads, copies, and files
- Provides clerical support to the assigned department
- Answers incoming phone calls; records and forwards accurate messages
- Assists in the preparation of department meetings and supply list
- Coordinates the ordering of textbooks, maintains perpetual inventory of supplies, and assists with other duties associated with the preparation of the budget
- Assists teachers with exam duplication and preparation
- Coordinates special programs as needed
- Creates and maintains position procedure outline to describe day to day duties of the position/department as needed
