Position Summary:
The Outreach Specialist will serve as a liaison between Qualico and the community, managing outreach efforts, building relationships, and enhancing the company’s visibility. This role combines marketing, public relations, and community engagement to promote Qualico’s mission, services, and brand.
The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong networking and marketing skills who can foster connections with stakeholders, local organizations, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach & Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact between Qualico and the local community.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend community events, sponsorships, and volunteer initiatives.
- Represent the company at public engagements, networking events, and industry conferences.
Marketing & Brand Awareness:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Qualico’s services, mission, and community involvement.
- Create marketing materials, including brochures, social media content, and newsletters, to enhance outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing campaigns with outreach initiatives.
- Track and analyze outreach efforts to improve engagement and visibility.
Public Relations & Communications:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, local organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Draft social media posts and community announcements.
- Serve as a spokesperson when needed and provide key messaging for outreach initiatives.
Program Coordination & Reporting:
- Identify community needs and opportunities for Qualico to contribute through outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate and track outreach activities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Provide reports on community engagement, event participation, and marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: 2 years of experience in marketing, outreach, public relations, or community engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build community relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.
- Comfortable speaking in public and representing the company professionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for community events.
