Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated medical assistant/office manager for a small, growing functional medicine practice. Must be well spoken and computer literate.
Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the medical office, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
- Oversee billing processes
- Facilitate communication between physicians, patients, and other healthcare providers.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
- Computer literate
- Phlebotomy
- Familiarity with medical systems, including electronic health records (EHR) software and billing software
- Sales experience a plus
- Strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
