The AP Clerk plays a critical role in the financial operations of Downstream Casino Resort. As an AP Clerk, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process vendor invoices by matching with purchase orders and ensuring supporting documentation is provided as required.
* Prepare checks for mailing and distribution.
* Maintain A/P related files, including filing and record-keeping.
* Review vendor statements and identify discrepancies or suspicious circumstances.
* Follow established guidelines for correspondence and present oneself as a credit to Downstream Casino and Resort.

* High school diploma or equivalent required and 3-6 hours of college accounting courses.
* One to two years previous experience in an accounting field.
* Exceptional organizational skills and math ability.
* Ability to use a 10-key adding machine and personal computer experience including 1-2 years Microsoft Word & Excel.
